This book has a very good desription of how to restore old facades and outlines numerous possiblities of why the facade my have failed. The pictures and graphics also help to complete the book in that it gives great examples to link the nomiclature and pictures together.

Great book for those engineers with little architectural background but who wish to work in restoration or professional engineers and licensed architects who perform Local law 10/11 inspections and would like to be recognized as New York City Qualified Exterior Wall Inspectors (QEWI).
